The epicenter of the earthquake was Majhitar in Sindhupalchok. According to Monica Jha, spokesperson of the National Earthquake Measurement Center, the 4.8 magnitude earthquake occurred at 1:20 PM on Thursday.
The shock of the earthquake was also felt in the districts around Sindhupalchok and Kathmandu valley.
