CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has said that big political parties are not allowed to fail. Speaking at the honoring and interview program for the newly elected officials of the Federation of Journalists organized by the Dang Publicity and Publication Department of UML in Ghorahi on Monday morning, he said that the party and the government should work according to the expectations of the people.
He said that the economy of the country has also weakened due to the interference of the court on the government, chaos and instability in the past. He claimed that the economic condition of the country is improving now.
Mentioning that rumors are being spread that the government is collapsing while doing good work, Pokhrel said that the current government made up of major parties is working on planned reforms. He claimed that the government cannot collapse if no one is satisfied. He expressed the opinion that even if the major parties do not understand the agreement, after the agreement, everyone will be forced to accept it.
Stating that some laws are irrelevant and create obstacles in performance, he informed that work is being done by forming a 6-member committee to improve them.
