A fire broke out in Rajdevi Municipality-5 Pathitol of Rautahat on Sunday midnight, 7 houses were destroyed. District Police Office Gaur has informed that the thatched house of Jagarnath Paswan, a resident of Pathitol, was ignited by a burning stove.
According to Suresh Pandit, Ward President of Ward No. 5, property worth about 30 lakh rupees has been destroyed by burning 4 goats along with grain leaves, clothes, documents, bedding.
After the fire, Barun Yantra, police and villagers from Gaur controlled the fire . He said that 2/2 blankets, tripals and bedding have been provided to each family of fire victims from the municipality. According to him, the state assembly member Nagendra Sah has provided gas, stove and food support.
