The battalion-level joint military exercise named 'Suriya Kiran' will focus on enhancing military capabilities in challenging situations including jungle warfare, operations against terrorism in geographically difficult areas, peacekeeping in accordance with the United Nations Charter, humanitarian aid disaster management and relief operations, internal capacity expansion, environmental protection.
Srijung Battalion of Nepali Army and 11th Gorkha Rifles of Indian Army will participate in the training which will continue till 29th of January.
