The weather will improve from Sunday

The weather, which has changed since Friday night, will improve tomorrow from Sunday. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, it has been informed that the weather will gradually improve from Sunday morning saying that the change will continue tonight as well.

Sanjeev Adhikari, meteorologist of the department informed that even at night, it is cloudy all over the country and it is raining in some places of western Nepal. He said that more than 10 millimeters of rain fell in some stations of Calikot, Dadeldhura and mentioned that more rain fell in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces than in other provinces. He informed that there is light rain in some areas of Lumbini and heavy snow is falling in the Himalayas including Humla. According to the bulletin issued by the

department this evening, it is said that the influence of the western low pressure system is continuing in the country. Currently, there is a general to complete change across the country. In addition to light snowfall in some parts of the high hilly and Himalayan regions of the country, there is light rain in a few places in Sudurpaschim Province, Karnali Province and Lumbini Province', the department mentioned. 

In the next 24 hours, there will be a possibility of light rain at some places in Sudurpaschim Province and Karnali Province, few places in Lumbini Province and Koshi Province and one or two places in the rest of the provinces.

In addition, there is a possibility of light to moderate snowfall in some places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Sudurpaschim Province, Karnali Province and Koshi Province, as well as in a few places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Gandaki Province and Bagmati Province, but the weather is said to be improving.
