Aneraswaviyu (revolutionary) close to the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist center) will hold an election on January 17 for the election of the new leadership.

Due to the age dispute, the 23rd National Conference held in Kathmandu from October 10th to 14th was postponed before the new leadership selection process was reached.

The schedule has been published for the new leadership to be registered on the 15th of January and voting will be held on the 17th from 11 am to 4 pm. Voting has been arranged in nine provincial level polling stations including seven provinces. Keshav Rawal, the vice president of the Revolutionary Party, informed that 2,323 representatives will vote to elect a 243-member central committee with 33 office bearers.
