Ravi Lamichhane, President of the People's Democratic Party, was brought to the Kaski District Court on Thursday for a statement.A case was filed on Sunday against 44 people including him as defendants in cooperative fraud, organized crime and money laundering.
In the Suryadarshan Cooperative fraud case, the Kaski police custody statement is going on in the court. Earlier, the statement of former DIG Chabilal Joshi has ended. The statement of Leela Pachai continues since Tuesday. The court is preparing to start the statement of Lamichhane after completing the follow-up statement on Thursday.
On Sunday, District Public Prosecutor's Office Kaski registered a case against 31 people including the chairman of National Independent Party, Ravi Lamichhane, in District Court Kaski. In Pokhara's Suryadarshan Cooperative fraud case, a case has been registered against them for 3 offences.
