Ushakiran Timsina, the suspended central member of UML, responded that the decision of the secretariat meeting to suspend and expel leaders including herself is against the democratic system. He is unhappy that the party has suspended him when questions are being raised about the party.
UML's secretariat meeting held on Wednesday suspended Standing Committee Member Binda Pandey and Central Member Timsina for 6 months . Pandey and Timsina were suspended for criticizing Meen Bahadur Gurung's decision to donate land and building for the party's central office and take the decision of UML. Earlier they were asked for a written explanation .
Timsina informed that while the party secretariat was taking the decision of suspension, she was returning from the meeting of the rural municipality committee in Nuwakot Constituency No. 1. He is in charge of Nuwakot Constituency No. 1 .
About the suspension taken by the party secretariat, she said, 'This should not have been done . This is a republic, the leaders who fought against our Panchayat are in the leadership. Democracy has come, republic has come . This was a work that did not suit the republican system and the people. It would have been better if the leadership who fought against the Panchayat had not copied the Panchayat.' Timsina also said that she will be active in the
party. 'I will continue to do party work . It will establish a more advanced democratic party system.' He said that he would continue to establish a democratic system in the parties. She said that since
