Bahadur Singh Lama, the Chief Minister of Wagmati Province, has instructed the ministers in his cabinet to stay in Hetaunda for four days.
Since the government's policies and programs and the budget have not been fully implemented, the Chief Minister has instructed to stay in Hetaunda, the capital of the state, to carry out the work. Addressing the review of the progress of the last month of the current fiscal year 2081/082 held at the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers at Hetaunda-2, he also instructed the secretaries of the ministry to stay in Hetaunda for at least 5 days a week.
We have been instructed by the Chief Minister not to leave Hetaunda except for urgent work and to work within the ministry. "Recently, there is a sound from all sides that the expenditure has been weak in the ministry. We have come to the conclusion that there is a decrease in expenditure in the ministry as expected, especially due to the multi-year plan. Now, the Chief Minister has given instructions to do the necessary work for the progress of the multi-year plan and to complete it on time in order to increase the expenditure,'' said Minister Lamichhane.
In Wagmati province, which has 14 ministries, four ministers did not participate in the review meeting. All the secretaries in the province were present in the meeting.
Lately, the provincial government has been criticized from all sides after the ministers have started participating in political activities by inaugurating various programs and focusing on their constituencies.
