Secretary of Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) and former Education Minister Devendra Paudel has said that the protest on the streets for non-payment of cooperative loans is chaos.

Stating that the cooperatives will be in trouble if they do not pay the loans taken from the cooperatives to buy property and to alleviate the pain, he said that they cannot say 'I will not pay the loan'.

'Government needs to address the anarchists who take loans from cooperatives and protest on the streets because they don't pay,' said leader Paudel.

Inaugurating the 15th Annual General Meeting of CYC Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited in Baglung Bazar today, Member of the House of Representatives Paudel said that the cooperatives as a whole have become disreputable because of one cooperative that is doing some mischief. He says that the government will make a strict policy to pay the debts to the cooperative debtors.
