Lalitpur District Court has ordered the release of Police Inspector Binukumari Shahi on bail. Monday Lalitpur District Court Spokesperson Ram Sajivan Mahato informed that the bench of Judge Ritakumari Bakhrel ordered to release him on a bond of 5 lakhs.
She was on the fugitive list and appeared in the court on Sunday. Although the arguments ended on Sunday, the court ordered Shahi to be released on bail. Now she will be able to hear the case outside the jail on a regular date. Shahi's suspension from the post of police inspector will remain in place.
Police Assistant Habaldar Mahendra Hamal, who was made a defendant in this case, has returned to work after being released on ordinary dates. Darshan Pokharel, related to this incident, is still on the fugitive list. Shahi was accused of being involved in the incident of extorting money by using the girl to frame her in a rape case. Earlier this incident was investigated by District Police Complex Lalitpur. During the investigation, SP Kamal Thapa was also involved in the incident and the CIB was given the task of further investigation.

Sushma used to work in a hotel in Morang. Then they got closer. After knowing the relationship between Sushma and the victim businessman, it is alleged that a group of Tajmul Islam called Taj Mool used Sushma to extort money.
