Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Netra Vikram Chand has decided to carry out political campaigns and agricultural production together. The CPN has also passed a new proposal for a 'new economic path' to become self-sufficient in agricultural production.

Earlier, the central committee meeting of the CPN, which collectively started agricultural cooperatives, animal husbandry and garment industry, passed a special proposal for production in agriculture.

General Secretary Chand's political proposal has raised the issue of economic production prominently. In the central committee held at the central office at Shivgadhi in Kapilvastu, a resolution has been passed to advance the political and economic revolution together.

After coming to peaceful politics in February 2077, CPN has been starting collective farming by renting land in some districts including Kapilvastu. Before that, the CPN practiced rebellion underground but failed.

Party, CPN claims that the economic campaign to make leaders-activists independent is more effective and result-oriented than expected. He said that not only in terms of promotion but also in terms of results, he was more successful than others expected. General Secretary Chand has stated that the economic front will emphasize production to guide politics. Time has become a necessity for political command from the economic front. CPN leader Santosh Budha said that the main emphasis is on economic production. "The Central Committee has taken an important decision to increase economic production," he said. NECPA has started cultivation of rice, pulses, oilseeds and fruits in 120 bighas in the Himalayas, mountains and Terai.

The production since June has been higher than last year. 120 bighas were cultivated with rice and beans, millets, and fruits were produced in the hills. Although collective farming was done in Rolpa, Rukum during the Maoist armed war, it has been closed after the peace process. The Maoists' Hetaunda convention held in January 2069 announced a production ban, but could not implement it.

report, cattle rearing in Morang and Kalipavastu has started yielding income. It is reported that two cow farms have been started in Morang and Kapilvastu using new methods in the field of production and Kapilvastu cow farm has earned 2 lakhs and sent it to the central office. Likewise, the Harpic and Finel industry established in the Kathmandu Valley region has started to generate income.

"NECPA has affected not only the party but also the country after implementing the idea of ​​self-reliance in the economic sector," Chand said, "Citizens with positive thinking in all sectors are helping as much as possible." If all the forces are deployed on a war level, results that no one expected can be achieved.' 

' Production for prosperity through labor'

The production work started by CPN will expand the new socialist economic relationship and it will prepare the basis of socialism.

'The production work we follow is not only related to making the CPN self-sufficient', the report says, 'It also has a long-term relationship, destroying the old economic base and building a socialist type of economic relationship and giving the common people the belief that prosperity can be brought through labor. Therefore, its importance should be recognized in a special way.

CPN's analysis is that economic production will be successful only if it is modified in a new way. As the old way of political and economic revolution will not be completed, mass production is emphasized.

It is necessary to give a new height to the original vision of integrated ownership developed in the financial sector and the self-reliance applied in practice. For this, it is necessary to adopt a new and different way in economic work and behavior. In the report, Secretary General Chand writes, "It is appropriate to call it a new way of integrated ownership, collective production and individual responsibility." This will express the use of socialism within the party, while the production will increase towards self-sufficiency and prosperity.' It is said that the economic output of the party and the leader should be viewed with importance in the context that the tendency of the leaders to become rich is increasing due to the fact that the economic output cannot be linked with the party.

'Each leader should learn to coordinate his personal financial work and the party's financial work. How is the economic life of the leader or how the economic work of the party has been helped by the leader's work is very important.' It has been claimed that the participation of leaders and workers has been successful. "Developing further from this plan is to use the idea and policy that the production of leaders and workers is not from the party to the party, but to the party." He has also passed a resolution to strictly implement the party's production policy.

If you use this policy, you can produce many times more than you need and will make the party stronger. The central committee, up to the representative committee, should become mandatory participants in the production. If it can do this, the communist movement will create an epoch-making path.' In the recent meeting held at Shivgarhi in Kapilvastu, 145 central members attended the meeting wearing black checkered coats, pants and shirts.

Leader Sudarshan Mongol said that clothes sewn in the Garment Center established at Shivgarhi Central Office were provided. "We are wearing clothes produced in our own garment so that uniformity can be seen in the clothes of the leaders," he said.

CPN has established a garment with an investment of around 1 million in Shivgarhi, where the central office is located. Mongol said that the party has also established another garment in Kapurdhara of Kathmandu and is sewing coats, pants, shirts and track suits needed by party leaders and workers. In addition, the CPN said that during the farming season, all the central members are focusing on production by stopping political programs for a month. 

Former Maoist leader Lokendra Bisht was also involved in dragon farming and black paddy production. He mentions that the country cannot progress without production and says that it should go towards socialism for the benefit of the people. Stating that the production campaign launched by the CPN has given a good message, Bista said that the basis for sustaining it should be clear.

What they are producing is good. The question is whether it will be sustainable or not," he added. If we take the people together, there is a possibility of success.

He says that success can only be achieved if the economic production is linked with the political direction in favor of the people. He said, "If we really want to do it, we should move forward on the path of socialism by combining politics and economic production on behalf of the people."
