In the Suryadarshan Cooperative fraud case of Pokhara, a supplementary charge has been filed against 19 people including president Gitendra Babu (GB) Rai in the Kaski District Court on Friday. District Public Prosecutor's Office Kaski has submitted a supplementary charge sheet to the court claiming additional charges and defects.

Kailash Kumar Darlami, the vice-president of the cooperative, and Kumar Ramtel, the treasurer, are among the 19 people.

District Attorney Kamala Kafle has informed that 19 people were previously prosecuted for the crime related to cooperative fraud in October 2080, this time the case was also prosecuted for the crime related to organized crime and money laundering.

6 out of 19 people are in Kaski prison for pre-trial detention, 3 are in prisons in other districts . 10 people are absconding. District Attorney Kafle said that the charge sheet will be submitted to the court only on Sunday against the 5 people who are in the custody of Kaski police, including RSVP Chairman Ravi Lamichhane.

It has been 90 days since the arrest of former DIG Chabilal Joshi on Friday. There is a legal provision in which money laundering offenses can be investigated with a maximum of 90 days in prison . The district attorney's office said that the deadline will expire at 12 midnight on Friday and since Saturday is a holiday, the charge sheet will be filed only on Sunday.

All five people, including Lamichhane, will be charged with crimes related to cooperative fraud, organized crime and money laundering, according to the Public Prosecutor's Office. After the case is registered, the district court will take the statements of all five people including Lamichhane. After the statement, there will be a custody debate.
