Nepali Congress General Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that the practice of saying things he likes by taking the name of BP (Vishweshwar Prasad Koirala) is developing in the Congress.
He said this while speaking at the release of the novel Shastra written by Kailas Koirala in Kathmandu on Friday. He has expressed his displeasure that the leaders within the party say what they want to say in the name of BP. He said that if the party leaders and workers say that BP said this, then they should not say it based on what others have said. He said that it can be used in reference, but he asked to use it only after studying it himself. He accused him of saying what he told him in the name of BP and that he was looking for a way to escape.
'In our party, no matter what you want to say, if you want to say something to someone, where should you go and look for it? BP said this. BP will not come and say that I did not say this. I will tell you that BP said so. After doing that, there will be an easy way to escape. I look at the latest in the Nepali Congress Party. There are several issues within our party. No one likes it, no one likes federalism, no one likes the constitution. What does anyone not like,' he said, 'these are the things of the program. It is very easy to say that what BP Koirala said is not right when people say that this is not right, when there are debates and discussions between us at party meetings or in such forums. In the context of religion, this matter has come more forcefully. Be a party of BP and leave the path of BP?
Chief Minister Thapa said that the religion of the state is to give justice to the people. He said that the task of politics is to adopt the social aspect of religion and put it into practice.
