Six months after the completion of the Central Congress, the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialists) has changed the responsibilities of the leaders and divided the tasks in the party.

Secretary Somprasad Pandey informed that a 24-member central secretariat has been formed under the leadership of President Madhav Kumar Nepal in the division of labor made by the party's standing committee meeting. 

Respected leader Jhalnath Khanal has been assigned the responsibility of Beduram Bhusal as Head of School Department, Organization Department Head, Pramesh Hamal as Head of Foreign Affairs Department, Ghanendra Basnet as Head of State Affairs Department, Senior Vice President Rajendra Pandey as Head of Front Division.

Similarly, party vice-president Jagannath Khatiwada was given the head of federal and provincial affairs, vice-president Prakash Jwala was given the head of publicity department, vice-president Jayanti Rai was in charge of All Nepal Mahila Sangh Samajwadi, vice-president Bhanubhakt Joshi was in-charge of Sudurpaschim province, vice-president Dharmanath Prasad Sah was in-charge of Madhes province, vice-president Gangalal Tuladhar was given Bagmati. The responsibility of the state in-charge has been given.

General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal has been entrusted with monitoring. Deputy General Secretary Rajendra Rai has been given the charge of Koshi Province. Deputy Secretary General Ramkumar Bhattarai has been given the office secretary, Deputy Secretary General Garima Shah has been given parliamentary in-charge, Vice President Metmani Chaudhary has been given Lumbini in-charge.

Secretary Srinath Baral has been given the responsibility of Gandaki in-charge, Secretary Chandra Bahadur Shahi has been given the responsibility of Karnali in-charge. Vice President Khatiwada said that Lakshman KC has been given the responsibility of in-charge of youth department and Ramkumari Jhankri has been given the responsibility of in-charge of student department.
