President Ramchandra Paudel has appointed ambassadors for five different countries. The President's Office has informed that five people have been appointed ambassadors.

President Paudel has appointed five ambassadors on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai, spokesperson of the President's Office has informed.

President Paudel appointed Shivamaya Tumbahangfe for South Korea, Prakashmani Paudel for Portugal, Sanil Nepal for Spain, Seva Lamsal for Belgium and Professor Kapilman Shrestha for South Africa.

There is a constitutional arrangement for the President to appoint an ambassador after the name is approved by the Parliamentary Hearing Committee on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.
