Elections are being held today to select the new leadership of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists. According to the Central Election Committee, voting will be held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm today.

Devi Prasad Sapkota, Nirmala Sharma, Ramesh Bishta and Lalsingh Lama have been nominated for central president, while Govinda Prasad Choulagain, Deepak Acharya and Roshan Puri have nominated for senior vice president.

Similarly, Ganga Poudel and Neetu Pandit have nominated for women's vice-president, Umid Bagchand, Mohan Kumar Singh and Subhash Prasad Shah for inclusive vice-president, Janmdev Jaishi, Prakash Thapa, Ram Prasad Dahal and Lekhnath Neupane for general secretary.

Today, new leadership will be elected in the central committee, 10 provincial committees and 77 district branches and 41 institute branches.
