A case has been filed in the District Court Morang against 26 people including Anjala Koirala, wife of Audit Committee Chairman Rishikesh Pokharel, in the Umagouri Agricultural Cooperative Society fraud case located in Dhanpalthan Rural Municipality-3 of Morang. The Public Prosecutor's Office Morang filed a case against 26 people including Pokharel's wife Koirala on Thursday.

A case has been filed against Shambhu Prasad Rauniar, who is the current president of the co-operative Dhanpalthan-4 and lives in Shanti Chowk of Biratnagar, Lakshman Sah of Kathari Rural Municipality-2, the vice-president of the co-operative, Alam Ansari Mian of Dhanpalthan-4, secretary and Shambhuprasad Singh of Dhanpalthan-4, treasurer .

Similarly, 26 people including Amod Mandal of Jahda Rural Municipality-4, Roshan Rajvanshi of Dhanpalthan-4 and Jitman Thakur of Dhanpalthan-2, Vijay Kumar Yadav of Dhanpalthan, coordinator of the accounting committee and members Surendra Kumar Rajvanshi and Ashok Kumar Biswas were charged with Section 122 of the Cooperative Act 2074.
