Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the newly constructed building of Pranami Secondary School, where he received his primary education, today. Prime Minister Oli cut the ribbon and inaugurated the 18-room building built at the school in Atharai rural municipality-4 Ewa of Tehrathum today.
Prime Minister Oli also interacted with school students, teachers, locals and others. The principal of the school Amrit Bahadur Budhathoki informed that Prime Minister Oli studied in this school till class 3.
The construction of the building built with the support of Yum Hong Gil Human Foundation of South Korea has been completed recently. The foundation has invested 44.49 million 60 thousand rupees, the Koshi state government has invested 2.1 million 40 thousand rupees and the Atharai rural municipality has invested 69 million rupees in building construction. According to the chairman of the school management committee, Bhim Ghimire, the school asked Prime Minister Oli to initiate the budget after there was a problem in teaching in the old building.
Ghimire said that the building was built after Prime Minister Oli's request, Yum Hong Gil Human Foundation South Korea made the main investment. South Korean Ambassador to Nepal Park Tae Yong, Yum Hong Gil Human Foundation's Park Yoo Sun and others were present in the program.
