The Nepali Congress has formed a 'Convention Central Steering Committee' to conduct the convention of 10 fraternal organizations of the party.
Party Chairman and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba formed a committee of directors on Wednesday to complete the convention of all fraternal organizations by the end of March. Congress Central Office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel informed that the said committee, formed in accordance with Article 25 (9) of the Constitution of the party 2017 (with amendments), can coordinate and assist the existing ad hoc committee to complete the convention.
The Congress has appointed Joint General Minister Jeevan Pariyar as the coordinator of the Central Steering Committee of Nepal Dalit Association and Lakshmi Pariyar and Shanti Vick as members.
Similarly, spokesperson Prakasharan Mahat has been appointed as the coordinator of the steering committee of Nepal Women's Association, Pushpa Bhusal and Rukmini Koirala as members, Ramesh Rizal as the coordinator of the steering committee of Nepal Kisan Federation, Rajendra Kumar KC and Anjani Shrestha as members.
NP Saud is the coordinator of the steering committee of Nepal Ex-Servicemen Association, Tekprasad Gurung and Mahendra Kumari Limbu are members, Mohan Bahadur Basnet is the coordinator of the steering committee of Nepal Democratic Sports Association, Umeshjung Rayamazhi and Ganesh Lama are members.
Madhu Acharya is the coordinator of the steering committee of the National Democratic Disability Association, Saraswati Bajimay and Madankrishna Shrestha are the members, Uday Shamsher Rana is the coordinator of the steering committee of Nepal Tharu Sangh, Gopal Dahit and Yogendra Chaudhary are the members.
Similarly, the central office of the Congress has informed that Prof. Dr. Govindraj Pokharel is the coordinator of the steering committee of Nepal Prajatantra Senani Sangh, Muktakumari Yadav and Kantika Saijuwal are members.
