The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) has called a standing committee meeting on the 26th and 27th of November at the central office.

Deputy General Secretary and Central Office Secretary Ramkumar Bhattarai informed that the meeting was called to take a decision regarding organizational activities of the party, district and state conventions, review of local level by-elections, current political issues of the country, division of work of leaders and changes in structure.

The party, which completed its tenth national convention last June, has not appointed various departmental heads, district in-charges, commissions and people's organization in-charges as part of the change in the responsibilities of the leaders and division of work. It is said that the meeting will approve the list finalized by the task force formed under the leadership of party president Madhav Kumar Nepal to divide the work in the party structure.
