The police have arrested 2 people on the charge of human trafficking by taking them to Kuwait for domestic work. Among those arrested are 26-year-old Dharma Tamang and 39-year-old Maila Lama Pakhrin alias Tikaram Tamang of Sindhupalchok Jugal Rural Municipality-6.

Based on the complaint of the victim, the police deployed from Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau Babarmahal arrested Dharma from Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-3 of Lamjung on Thursday and Tikaram from Kaski Pokhara Metropolitan City-16 Lamachaur on Friday.

They lured the victim to work as a domestic worker earning 120 KD per month in Kuwait with a 'free visa free ticket'. On July 4, 2080, they took the victim to Dubai from Tribhuvan International Airport, from Dubai to a place called Alzara in Kuwait, and sold them to the Kuwaiti home owner for 900 KD. It has come to light from research.

In the human trafficking and trafficking case against them, the police is conducting necessary investigations in this regard after taking permission from the District Court Kathmandu.
