Chairman of CPN (United Socialist Party) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has urged the Israeli people not to follow the rulers who follow fascist policies. Inaugurating the 'Countrywide Signature Campaign Against Israeli Genocide on Palestinians' at Ratna Park in Kathmandu on Monday, President Nepal urged Nepal to stand firmly in favor of justice and truth and against injustice and tyranny.

'We must stand for justice and truth and we must stand firmly against injustice and tyranny, against fascism. Our country Nepal should resolve to stand for justice. It has been doing. The way the current government is committing heinous violations of human rights, killings, and the way Palestinians are being treated at the height of brutality is reprehensible and regrettable,' said President Nepal.

President Nepal said that the government should not remain neutral in such matters. 'If this is the government's policy of remaining neutral in such matters, it is reprehensible. It is reprehensible. Nepal should be able to distinguish between justice and injustice,' he said. Mentioning that Nepal is on the side of the Palestinian citizens, Nepal said, 'We the people of Nepal are on the side of the Palestinian people. If we talk about the people, I want to say to the Israeli people as well, do not follow such a ruler who follows the fascist policy of your country, stand for justice.'
