President Ramchandra Paudel has recovered and been discharged. He was admitted to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajganj last Wednesday for prostate-related treatment. He underwent prostate surgery on the same day.
Acting Executive Director of the hospital Ghanshyam Gurung issued a statement and informed that President Paudel recovered and was discharged on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, President Paudel has expressed his gratitude to all the doctors, health workers, other hospital staff involved in his treatment and those who wished him well from home and abroad. This was stated in a statement issued by the office of the President.
