Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgel Wangchuck visited Swayambhunath, which is listed in the World Heritage List, with worship.

Earlier, officials of Swayambhu Management and Conservation General Committee welcomed the Bhutanese king at Swayambhunath complex. The Bhutanese king, who was there for about half an hour, viewed the Kathmandu Valley from the Swayambhunath complex.

The Bhutanese King who arrived in Nepal this morning is scheduled to visit Swayambhunath. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed that the Bhutanese King, who came to Kathmandu while returning home from India, will return home today.
