The main opposition party Maoist Center has objected saying that the Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deepak Khadka is obstructing the work of Nepal Electricity Authority.
Maoists say that Minister Khadka opened a working room in the office of the Electricity Authority and obstructed the work of the Authority.
The central office meeting held at Khumaltar in Lalitpur, the private residence of party president Pushpa Kamal Dahal, objected to the Energy Minister setting up a working room in the central office of the Nepal Electricity Authority.
Agni Prasad Sapkota, the spokesperson of the Maoist Center, said, 'The Electricity Authority is talking about cutting the line . In that, the minister himself has opened a working room in the electricity authority, which is unique and has never happened in history, and has created obstacles in the work done by the electricity authority. The government is working to protect the middleman and protect the corrupt.' The Maoists have objected to the said action of Minister Khadka.
