Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that during his official visit to China, agreements of historical importance have been reached.

Prime Minister Oli, who is on an official visit to China at the friendly invitation of Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang, said that the visit was worthwhile to broaden, heighten, deepen and further strengthen mutual relations at the 'reception' ceremony organized by the Nepali Embassy to China on Wednesday in Beijing.

The Prime Minister informed that since Nepal has entered the era of political stability and prosperity, now in the context of increasing investment and cooperation from developed countries like China and advancing on the journey of prosperity, preparations are being made to bring a large number of Chinese tourists to Nepal in 2025. He said that he was excited by the discussion of Chinese businessmen and entrepreneurs. 

Prime Minister Oli also mentioned that the current government formed in collaboration with the two major parties in Nepal is making every possible effort to make Nepal modern and prosperous.

Foreign Minister Dr Arju Rana Deuba said that Prime Minister Oli's visit has boosted the relationship between the two countries. Nepali Ambassador to China Dr. Krishna Prasad Oli said that the visit was successful in increasing mutual trust and understanding between the two countries.

During Prime Minister Oli's visit, an agreement was signed between Nepal and China on cooperation in various fields including the framework of the 'Belt and Road' Initiative (BRI).
