Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula has said that corruption is at its peak in the party. "The time has come to resolve the disorder and move forward by organizing and uniting the party", Sitaula said, "There was no understanding and unity in the party." It has come to a situation where we have to learn from the weaknesses and work for the people in the current system.
He said that the changes in the country are under the leadership of the Congress and the party is determined to fulfill the wishes of the people.
In an unplanned meeting organized by the Congress District Working Committee Mahottari in Jaleshwar on Wednesday, Sitaula admitted the weakness of the Congress in not doing what it could have done in the absence of unity within the party. "Congress is a party that only does what it says and does," Sitaula said, "The current government is a forced government after cheating." He said that no matter how hard they tried to change the system, the problem was getting worse because the party could not stop the change of government. In the
meeting program, the leaders and workers have accused the politicians at the central level of the party of increasing irregularity for financial gain, financial manipulation without evaluating the workers and giving them tickets in the election, which has weakened the morale of the candidates.
