Four Indian nationals have been arrested for betting on the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested 24-year-old Suman Ghosh of Kolkata Bahrsan Bavugaddhi, 25-year-old Amit Yadav of Uttar Pradesh Kanpur, 27-year-old Sumant Kumar of Bihar Saharsa Bakhri and 30-year-old Brajesh Kumar of Bihar Saharsa Haransari on Tuesday.  CIB spokesperson SP Hovindra Bogti said that they were arrested from the Kirtipur ground on the charge of betting on the field through online apps called Sports Buzzy and Probo during the

tournament.

4 Indian Aadhaar cards and 6 smart mobiles were recovered from them, police said. According to the police, the incident is being investigated.
