Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has left for China for an official visit. On the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Li Qiang, Prime Minister Oli went there.
The team led by Prime Minister Oli will reach the capital of China, Beijing, at 6:10 pm local time on a special charter flight of Himalaya Airlines at 11 am today.
Nepal-China, which has a long history of traditional and friendly relations between the people and the government, has already completed all the preparations for this visit, which is believed to further strengthen the friendly relations. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Sunday evening has finalized the bilateral agenda and areas of cooperation during the visit. 78 members including 46 from the government and 32 from the private sector will participate in the
visit. Eight members will be added to the government delegation from the Nepali Embassy in Beijing. Two of the 46 members of the government team have already reached China during the preparations.
Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to return home on the 20th.
