As Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has left for China today for an official visit to the People's Republic of China, Deputy Prime Minister Singh has been given the charge of Prime Minister in his absence. According to the statement issued by the President's Office, President Paudel has appointed Deputy Prime Minister Singh to handle the daily administrative work that he will do in the absence of Prime Minister Oli in accordance with the Constitution of Nepal, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Oli has left for Beijing today for an official visit to China at the friendly invitation of his Chinese counterpart Li Qiang. Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to return home on November 20 after completing his visit to China.
