Congress Chairman and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that youth should be given jobs according to their skills.Addressing the opening session of the Sixth Asian Population Conference, he mentioned that the countries of South Asia, which have 60 percent of the world's population, need to manage the youth according to their skills.
He was of the opinion that if young people cannot be engaged in entrepreneurship with new innovations in the field of production, the process of going abroad will continue.
Despite the inadequacy of the means and resources needed for the growing population, he was of the opinion that it is necessary to stop the youth from going abroad and put them in the productivity sector.
South Asian countries, which have 60 percent of the world's population, need to manage the youth according to their skills. If we do not engage the youth in entrepreneurship with new inventions in the productivity sector, then there is a danger of foreigners in search of opportunities, so it is important that our plans and priorities are focused on that. Despite the inadequacy of the means and resources required for a growing population, it is important that we prevent our youth from going abroad and engage them in the productive sector. Nepal has succeeded in achieving sustainable development goals in reproductive health. Considering the effects of climate change, I expect that the conference will provide guidelines for the welfare of the people," said Deuba.
President Deuba expressed his belief that the conference will provide guidance regarding the effects of climate change and the use of skilled manpower.
