Chairman of CPN-Maoist Center and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has now warned of street protests with the demands of the Executive President.
Addressing the second city meeting of YCL in Makwanpur's Thaha municipality on Saturday, he signaled a new movement. With the formation of the Congress-UML coalition government, Dahal, who reached the opposition Benj, has been warning of continuous street protests for the last four months.
He also attacked the current government led by KP Sharma Oli. After the previous government under his leadership destroyed the middlemen, brokers and capitalists, the frightened people met the UML and Congress leadership and pressured them to change the government and also accused the middlemen of building this government.
'This government is not the people's government . It is a government formed by middlemen after we proceeded with the process of good governance and corruption,' former Prime Minister Dahal said
President Dahal said that in the coming days, a storm of movement will be created at district and local levels across the country. He expressed his commitment that he would not take a break until a directly elected executive president is in place if he remains healthy for another 5-7 years .
