Chinese leader Chen Gang, who is visiting Nepal, has said that it is necessary to strengthen the relationship between the parties of the two countries. Chan, who is also the envoy of the Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Qinghai Province, emphasized the cooperation between the parties in the meeting with the Nepalese leaders.

Leader Chan, who arrived on Saturday for a three-day visit, met with Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Maoist President Pushpa Kamal Dahal on the same day and UML President and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Sunday. In the meeting, Chan mentioned that he had come with a message from the General Secretary of CPC and President Xi.

"We will not interfere in the internal affairs of any country, but we will give importance to the relationship between parties," Chan said during the meeting. The Nepali leaders who participated in the meeting informed that he will respect the decision made by the Nepali political party and that he will convey the issues raised during the visit to the General Secretary.

Neta Chan, who is also a member of the Central Committee of CPC, has visited Nepal for the first time. He is considered a confidant of President Xi. Because of his strong influence in China, Neta Chan's visit to Nepal is viewed with importance.

Neta Chan had discussed communist unity and historical relations between China and Congress with Deuba in the meeting with Oli and Dahal. In the meeting with Oli and Dahal, he mentioned that it would be good for parties with the same ideology to meet. "China's opinion that it is okay for parties with the same ideology to meet is not a new issue, it is something they have been saying openly," said Shakti Basnet, deputy secretary general of Maoist and former minister, who was present in the meeting with Dahal in Khumaltar.

According to a leader present in the meeting with President Oli in Baluwatar, Chan repeated the same thing. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song and others participated in the meeting. According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, in the meeting that lasted for more than 50 minutes, the issue of strengthening the mutual relations between the two countries and the two parties was discussed.

Prime Minister Oli informed that a new government has been formed in cooperation between two major parties UML and Congress for political stability. He also said that he expects China's continued support in Nepal's economic development. Prime Minister Oli stated in the statement of the Prime Minister's Secretariat that since there are government-to-government, people-to-people as well as business, mythological and cultural relations between the two countries, the order of exchange of high-level visits should be continued. Prime Minister Oli reminded that Nepal has always been clear about not allowing Nepali land to be used for any activities against China while remaining committed to the one China policy. In the

meeting, Maoist Chairman Dahal emphasized that all the agreements reached during the high-level visit between the two countries should be implemented. Similarly, the Secretary of the Congress Party Office, Pradeep Parajuli informed that Congress President Deuba mentioned that the relationship between the Congress and the CPC should be improved.
