34 countries including Nepal have condemned Israel's attack on the United Nations Mission (UNIFIL) in Lebanon. They appealed to protect the UN mission.

"Nepal strongly condemns the recent attacks on UNIFIL peacekeepers and urges the parties to the conflict to guarantee their safety and security," the foreign ministry said. Nepal has demanded that such actions should be stopped immediately and a proper investigation should be conducted.

Israel attacked a peacekeeping mission base in Lenban last Sunday.

Such actions should be stopped immediately and proper investigation should be done.'

 They also urged the parties to the conflict to respect UNIFIL's presence .

'We reiterate our commitment to multilateral cooperation at the center of the United Nations' in the joint statement, 'We call for respect for international law, especially the Charter of the United Nations and the relevant resolutions of the Security Council .
