The Election Commission has informed that 25 parties have been registered for the local level by-elections announced for the upcoming 16th of November.

The Commission has announced through a statement on Sunday that 25 parties have been registered out of 26 applications received during the period from October 10th to 16th.

'According to the decision of the commission for the purpose of the local level by-elections to be held on Sunday, November 16, 2081 from October 10 to 16, 2081, among the 26 parties that have registered their applications under Article 271 of the Constitution of Nepal and Section 48 of the Political Parties Act, 2073, according to the decision of the meeting held on the 20th of the Commission, legal The 25 parties who have completed the procedure are informed of the registered transaction according to sub-rule (4) of rule 17 of the Political Parties Regulation, 2074,' the statement of the commission states. 

According to the earlier public election schedule, the nomination of candidates will be registered at the election officer's office on November 2nd from 10 am to 5 pm. The list of candidates will be published on the same day from 5 to 6 pm. The period for filing complaints against the candidates in the mentioned list will be from 10 am to 3 pm on November 3rd. On the same day, after 3 pm on the 4th of November by 5 pm, the nomination papers and complaints will be scrutinized and decided, and the list of candidates will be published at the election officer's office from 5 pm to 6 pm on the 4th of November.

The name of the candidate can be withdrawn from 9 am to 1 pm on the 5th of November, and the final list of candidates will be published at the election officer's office from 1 pm to 3 pm on the same day and the election symbol will be awarded to the candidate from 3 pm to 5 pm .

Voting will be held on the 16th of November from 7 am to 5 pm at the respective polling station . 48 hours before the start of voting i.e. November 13  The commission said that the period of prohibition of propaganda will come into effect after 12:00 pm.
