At present, the influence of Monsoon air continues across the country. Monsoon low pressure line is located north of Sardar place in west and south of Sardar place in east.
According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, it is currently partly to mostly cloudy across the country with light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning in a few places of Wagmati and Gandaki provinces and one or two places in the rest of the provinces.
The department estimates that there will be partly to mostly cloudy weather across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning at some places in Koshi, Wagmati, Lumbini and Karnali provinces and few places in Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces. The department has said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Wagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces. According to the
department, the weather will be partly cloudy to mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country tonight. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning at a few places in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali regions.
