1 more child died injured in an explosion in Dadagaon village of Phalelung rural municipality-5 Prangvung of Panchthar. Dipsan, the 11-year-old son of local Dilip Sanwa, who was seriously injured in the blast, died.

Pawan, 10-year-old son of Gyan Bahadur Rai, Dipsan, 11-year-old son of local Dilip Sanwa, and Prinsa, 2-and-a-half-year-old daughter, were injured on Thursday afternoon.

They were taken to Panchthar Hospital immediately after being injured, but they were referred to Jhapa for further treatment. While being taken for treatment, Prinsa reached Ilam at 10 o'clock in the night and Dipsan at 1 o'clock in the night  District Police Office Panchthar said that he died while being taken to B&C Hospital Jhapa.

The injured boy Pawan is being treated at Panchthar Hospital, police said. Kiran Gautam, a doctor involved in the treatment, said that his condition is normal.

DSP Hemant Bhandari Chhetri, Chief of District Police Office Panchthar, said that they might have been injured by a homemade grenade. Bhandari also said that since another suspicious object was found at the scene, the disposal team of the Nepali Army has been asked to dispose of it to determine if it is a bomb or not.

As it is not clear when and who placed the grenade, the police said that the investigation is underway. Aitaraj, the rich man of the blasted house, is a Maoist activist . Gyan Bahadur Rai's family is now living in that house. Locals suspect that the bomb may have been hidden during the conflict.
