Nepali Congress General Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that he had to testify for nine hours in the parliamentary committee because of the evidence of the involvement of National Independent Party Chairman Ravi Lamichhane in the cooperative fraud case. He said that the decision of the parliamentary committee has not yet arrived and asked those who are looking for lost evidence to wait until then.
Speaking at a special time in the House of Representatives meeting on Thursday, MP Thapa said that there is evidence of Lamichhane's involvement in the co-operative fraud case, and the evidence they showed when the parliamentary committee was formed has been submitted to the parliamentary committee.
He said, 'Some friends in the parliament lost evidence for a few days? Lost evidence? I found that you were looking for that. It is because of these facts and evidences that we have formed the parliamentary committee after struggling in the parliament. We wrote the TOR for it. He asked to write the name. The name of the company was written. It may be because of those evidences that the situation of having to give a statement for 9 hours instead of 9 minutes of chat may have come because of that fact evidence. I have full faith in the committee. Surya Thapa has worked very hard. I have faith in all my friends in the committee. Instead, I think that my friends were shocked. Not acquitted. The decision is yet to come.'
General Minister Thapa asked to wait till the verdict and to wait till the day of the verdict.
