Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that programs and plans are being formulated to make the youth enterprising. At the closing program of the Nepal Youth Conference organized here today on the occasion of the International Youth Day, he said that the government is working to increase the pace of development with small entrepreneurship programs to provide employment to many people.

Job opportunities in the country  Expressing concern over the increase in youth migration abroad, the Prime Minister urged the youth to think in this direction as there is a risk of Nepal becoming a country of only senior citizens in the future. He urged the youth to get married in their early 20s and plan to have children early for a bright future as the population growth rate is low at present.

Prime Minister Oli said that currently 20 percent of citizens are below the absolute poverty line, and poverty should be reduced at the rate of two percent per year. He said that the goal is to end the situation of street children within one year, so our children will not live on the streets without parents. Expressing the government's commitment to implement the manifesto passed by the

conference, the Prime Minister said that the issues of the manifesto will be included in the statement that Nepal will present at the United Nations General Assembly in October.
