A foreign national was arrested at Tribhuvan International Airport with the banned drug cocaine.  Ivars Valtars, a citizen of Latvia who came to Nepal on Wednesday by Qatar Airways flight, was arrested by the joint team of Nepal Police's Narcotics Control Bureau and Tribhuvan Airport Customs Office with 6 kg 24 grams of cocaine.

The police have informed that the Nepali market value of recovered cocaine is more than 21 million 8 million rupees. Bureau chief SSP Dinesh Acharya said that further investigation is underway on the arrested person. Among those arrested, Donald Fly came to Nepal via Dubai. He had brought cocaine by swallowing 2 kg 260 grams in capsule form. Laura came via Brazil on an Emirates ship.
