Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chan Song has a courtesy meeting with the Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar. On Monday, Ambassador Song reached the Home Ministry at Singhdarbar and congratulated the Home Minister.

In the meeting, the Home Minister said that the two countries have always had cordial relations and expressed confidence that the relations will expand and strengthen in the future. He said that China is an important development partner in Nepal's infrastructure development and other fields.

Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, the Home Minister thanked China for their support in infrastructure construction and capacity development of Nepal. In addition, the Ministry of Home Affairs has stated that the Minister of Home Affairs has expressed his commitment that Nepal is committed to the One China Policy and that the land of Nepal will not be used against its neighboring countries.

Ambassador Song also expressed his belief that friendly and diplomatic relations between Nepal and China will be strengthened in the coming days. He expressed his belief that Nepal and China have many cultural similarities and that the relations will be strengthened in the coming years. 

Likewise, Ambassador Song made it clear in the meeting that he would coordinate with the Nepalese government for border management, cross-border crime control and the safety of the citizens of both countries. He also said that the Chinese government will provide all possible support to strengthen the immigration administration.
