Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli announced the 7-point agreement between Nepali Congress and CPN-UML for power cooperation in the House of Representatives meeting. On Sunday, Prime Minister Oli submitted a proposal for a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives and said that the cooperation between the two major parties has started to solve the problems in the country.

'We compete on ideas . But there has been cooperation between Congress and UML at certain times. Even now, it is a continuation of that," Prime Minister Oli said, "We have agreed to cooperate to protect the national interest according to the wishes of the people, to maintain good governance in the country by controlling corruption, to speed up the nation's development and construction campaign, and for political stability.

According to Prime Minister Oli, the 7 points of agreement reached between Congress and UML are as follows.

1.  To protect the national interests according to the wishes of the people, to maintain good governance in the country by controlling corruption, to speed up the development and construction campaign of the nation and to form a government of national consensus under Article 76 (2) of the Constitution by involving other political parties for political stability. 

2. After the implementation of the constitution, the government of national consensus will review the strengths and weaknesses and complexities that have emerged in practice and give priority to the necessary amendments to the constitution and the creation of appropriate laws for political stability.

3. To put an end to the existing laxity in the economy and prepare a reliable business environment to make economic activities viable, to encourage internal and external investment and to create sufficient and decent jobs in the country. 

4. The National Consensus Government will be led by KP Sharma Oli, Chairman of CPN-UML for two years from the date of formation of the government, and then by Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of Nepali Congress until the election in November 084.

5. To protect the national interest, to end corruption and maintain peace, to speed up the campaign of development of the nation, to set the basis for the government of national consensus, prepare a minimum common program and run the government on that basis. 

6. For the government of national consensus, the leadership role of the two major political parties and participation in the government on the basis of equality and other political parties will also be included in the government. 

7. Forming the provincial government in accordance with the spirit and spirit of the government of national consensus and speeding up the work of development and construction at the provincial and local levels in accordance with the people's sentiments.
