The Israeli government has decided to bring in 92,000 foreign workers. The meeting of the high-level committee on foreign workers held on Monday under the chairmanship of the Director General of the Prime Minister's Office, Yossi Shelley, decided to bring 92 thousand workers.
After the shortage of foreign workers in Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu formed a high-level committee on May 15 to determine the quota of foreign workers. This is the fourth meeting of the committee.
The meeting has fixed quotas for the agriculture, industry, hotel and restaurant sectors . Most of them are 65,000 in the agricultural sector, 13,200 in the industry, 6,800 in the hotel and 2,000 in the restaurant sector. Israel has not allocated countries to bring foreign workers. About 4500 workers are employed in Israel's caregiver sector .
