KP Sharma Oli, the president of the ruling major component UML, has said that he had to dissolve the House of Representatives to prevent the party from ending. President Oli has said that if he had not dissolved the House of Representatives at that time, he saw a situation where the UML would not even be able to say anything now.

In a program organized by the UML Kathmandu district committee on Saturday, Chairman Dahal claimed that he saved the UML by dissolving the House of Representatives after the party tried to topple the government led by him and make the opposition the prime minister from within the party.

'I am amazed when I see the tendency of some people to never understand things . On the 5th of December everything else was fine . It would have been if the parliament had not been dissolved on the 6th of January. Why did the parliament have to be dissolved? That was our wish ? We were the most prominent party. We got the majority by combining the other party as well . About two-thirds of the positions were made by us . Outside forces from within the party were not going to do anything to us. The party has jumped up and down by creating chaos from within. A meeting is not like a meeting, you can't run . Development, construction work has been done, other work has been done . Reconstruction work has been done. All the work has been done, but it is not visible," President Oli said, "It has jumped today, and it has jumped tomorrow too . How to topple the government. And he ran to make the opposition the prime minister. has gone to court . And again the matter has been magnified . If the House of Representatives had not been dissolved at that time, we would not have been able to call ourselves CPN (UML) today. It should have been finally understood.'

Oli said that the party leaders did not see the work done by the government led by him. He argued that the party was only criticized but not appreciated for the good works done. 'The way the government was delivered at the feet of the right-wing forces, UMA could also have delivered it . And you didn't see ? The president who was elected from the ninth convention, which has brought the party not only to a prominent position, but also to a strong position . Made the biggest party. Which combined the parties across the country to form a strong force of almost two-thirds . Didn't you see him removed even from ordinary members?, he said.

The 2074 election alliance was formed by the UML and the Maoist Center. The Communist Party of Nepal won nearly two thirds of the votes. After a dispute arose in the said party, the then Prime Minister Oli dissolved it for the second time on 5th December 2077 and 8th May 2078. Both dissolutions were declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. Now, Oli has given a clarification that the dissolution is to save the party.

President Oli warned that the party has set the goal of making Mission 2084 a success and to make it worthwhile, the party's leaders and workers should move forward unitedly.
