CPN-UML President KP Sharma Oli has said that he was angry, upset and disappointed when the Congress had to leave power suddenly. In the political report submitted at the party's congress representative council meeting held at Sunrise Hall in Godavari, Lalitpur on Saturday, Oli said that the latest power equation is to solve the problems seen in the country.

Oli said that continuous dialogue is necessary to solve the serious problems of the country. Oli said that the previous ruling coalition had adopted a policy of retaliation, confrontation and prohibition against UML. The previous power coalition has also accused them of making secret agreements that hurt the national interest .

'In important national questions, not only the opposition was not taken along, but the minimum formality of information was not completed. Secret agreements were made on some questions that hurt the national interest. That was undemocratic and apolitical way . We will not do that . It will be our policy to have a meaningful dialogue with everyone including the opposition on the country's foreign policy, national security, national agenda of development and infrastructure, transitional justice and constitutional questions,' Oli's report states. Oli has not disclosed what secret agreement was made by yesterday's alliance against the national interest. 

Similarly, UML President Oli has accused the Congress of doing revenge politics when it had to leave power. He also said that the Congress has made every possible effort to prevent a new equation from forming. He has said, 'He made every possible effort to prevent and destroy the new equation that started on February 21. For that, he also offered the post of Prime Minister to the leaders of RSVP and some other parties. But as those parties joined the new political equation by rejecting the Congress proposal, he is protesting and obstructing the House in a desperate mood. There is no rational basis behind this except revenge.'

In the same way, Oli's argument is that the Congress raised the question in the cooperative fraud case with a sense of political revenge. The main opposition party Congress is raising a demand in the parliament for an investigation into the co-operative fraud case against Ravi Lamichhane, who is also the home minister.

But UML President Oli has said that even though there should be a serious investigation into cooperative fraud, Congress has targeted certain people. He has said, 'serious problems have emerged in the cooperative sector, billions of savers have been embezzled and the culprits should be investigated and prosecuted. The party is clear on this matter. But it cannot be entered into matters which are brought forward by the spirit of political revenge by targeting a certain person and which are not confirmed.'
