At least 55 Nepali workers who went to Qatar's Imdad Q Alquivida Company have been stranded. Those workers have not been paid by the company for 5 months. The company has stopped giving food to the workers.

The workers sent by Al Nasser Overseas Manpower Company are stranded. They were sent to Qatar by Al Nasser Manpower Company with two to three lakh rupees. The manpower company is not interested in solving the workers' problems. 25 women are among the stranded workers. 

Krishna Vick of Jajarkot said that the company is sending them to work in an illegal capacity. He arrived in Qatar on November 10 to work as a waiter by paying Rs 230,000 to Al Nasser Manpower. "So far, neither the Qatari resident identity card (ID)  put on You cannot go to the hospital without an ID card. No bank ATM has been given. No salary has been given. The company is not concerned about the condition of the workers. They have stopped working since April 1 due to non-payment of salaries. We don't even have food. It was like begging other people. They said that they received only one month's salary in a period of 5 months. Parvati Kunwar, who arrived in Qatar on October 15, said that when she asked the company for her salary, the opposite was shown. It has been 6 months since I asked for salary. On the contrary, he threatens us by saying that he will file a complaint against the worker when we ask for money. They say they will send the police. They didn't care even if I gave them a lot of time," she said. "It's easy for relatives here. They can find money for food. Those who don't have relatives are miserable.' 

She said that from October 16 to April 1, she was paid only 1231 riyals while working as a cleaner at Alvida Park. No one has got this. Gives money in hand, signs. Not given by the bank. When he first came, he gave two hundred. Worked on it. He gave two hundred again. 600 for half a month,' she said, 'We did not send that money home.'

They allege that the manpower has been harassing them when they told them about their problems time and again. The workers have gone to the Nepali Embassy and the Labor Court of Qatar to file a complaint to solve the problem. Qatar's labor councilor Tikamani Neupane said that the embassy is taking initiatives between the employer company and the sending manpower to solve the problem. It has only been a week since this issue came to the embassy. When we came to know, we have already told Manpower and the company. The company has said that it will solve the problem within 15 days. Manpower is not as serious as it should be in this matter,'' Neupane said. Khim Bahadur Wali of Gulmi said that even after working for 20 months, the company did not give him an ID card. It is very  The company is a big company.
