Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Narayankaji Shrestha has said that the government is working to provide public services easily from home to the people.

 

He said this while inaugurating a new 'module' launched by the Consular Services Department from today so that Nepalis living abroad can easily register their complaints and problems through the respective embassies.

Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha mentioned that the current government has been working according to its commitment to provide public services easily and simply to the people since the beginning. "We have started this service to provide government services at home using information technology in a fast, efficient and error-free manner," he said.

Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha informed that after the start of this service, Nepali citizens living abroad will be able to express their problems and complaints at home and also get information about the solution regarding the address online. According to him, the department has already arranged that the police character certificate can be obtained online as per the commitment of the government. In the

program, the director general of the department, Prakashmani Paudel, informed about the services of the new module. After any customer enters the passport number and date of birth in the said module, a new folder is created. It has been arranged that you can write your problems and complaints in the folder and also get information about the address,' he said. 

Director General Paudel informed that this technology has been started in embassies abroad to work with a limited number of employees.
