The 'chapter' of party unity between the 'designer' of the ten-year armed conflict, Prime Minister and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and the then Vice President Baburam Bhattarai has almost come to an end. After changing alliances three times in one year and becoming the prime minister, Bhattarai said that Dahal was not interested in party unity and said that there was no possibility of unity.

Bhattarai has complained that he was not even participating in the Samajwadi march that was formed last June. "My concept was that let's form a socialist front together with the old left." He created a cartoon-like Samajwadi Front to adjust his power,' says Bhattarai, 'There was a problem with his honesty.' After that, Dahal communicated with him and initiated the unity process. Dahal and Bhattarai themselves became coordinators for party unity. However, after Ekta Dahal did not show interest, Bhattarai intensified Gorkha-centric political activities. Vishwadeep Pandey, a central member of NESP, said that he is ready to be a candidate from Bhattarai Gorkha 2 in the 2084 election. "When he reached Gorkha, the voters asked him to be a candidate in the next election, he accepted," he said.

On February 22, Bhattarai wrote a letter to the Nepal Samajwadi Party to remove the elected people's representative from the Maoist party with the election symbol of the Maoist in the last election. Two MPs have been elected in the Union and two MPs in the state with the election symbol of Maoist while being in Nepal Samajwadi Party. In the Sangh, Mahinda Rai Yadav was elected from Sarlahi 2, Ganganarayan Shrestha from Sindhuli 2 (2) and Phanindra Devkota from Gorkha 2 (2) in Wagmati Pradesh . Umrawati Devi has been elected as the proportion of the union. 

MP Rai has sent a letter to the Parliament Secretariat that he remains a Maoist. In the same way, Internal Affairs Minister Ganganarayan Shrestha has also been saying that he will remain a Maoist in Bagmati Sakar. Wagmati MP Devkota is ready to remain in the Nepal Samajwadi Party. As the distance between Dahal and Bhattarai increases, the MPs elected with the Maoist election symbol will face the whip of the Maoists, so three of the four MPs are in the mood to remain in the Maoist party.

MP Mahindra Rai Yadav, who is also the co-chairman of NESP, claimed that the party will unite with the Maoists. "Maoist will decide the name and election symbol for party unity through a special convention, after that the party will be united," he said. Bhattarai and Rai have a difference about uniting with the Maoists. 

Maoist vice-president Agni Prasad Sapkota said that although there is a theoretical agreement to unite between Maoists and NESP, it has not been able to accelerate . "It is believed that communists should stand together," he said, "due to busyness, the process of unity has not accelerated." According to

sources, there are two camps within NESP on whether or not to unite with Maoists. Apart from the Wagmati state parliamentarian, three others have prepared to join the Maoists if they don't have to unite the party in any way. "Union and state parliamentarians (Rai, Devi and Shrestha) have prepared to unite the party with the Maoists by dividing the NSP," said one of the leaders of the NSP. Dahal and Bhattarai, who have been in the same party for almost two and a half decades, took different paths on October 9, 2072. 

The Maoists led by Dahal and Nepal Samajwadi Party (NESPA) through the new power led by Bhattarai made an agreement to stand together again before the elections. In the pre-election talks, there was talk of naming the party 'NCP Samajwadi' and Bhattarai taking charge of ideological policy making and planning, Dahal remaining in the executive role . There has been no communication between Dahal and Bhattarai lately.

Bhattarai, who is the second leader in the Maoists, became the Prime Minister in 068 October after a long struggle with Dahal. Dahal was the party president when he was the prime minister from 12 to 069 to 30 February. While in the same party, Dahal used to accuse Bhattarai of being soft on India. Bhattarai used to portray Dahal as a leader without concrete ideas.

He has put forward a proposal to keep the CPN in the legislative session and keep the option open to keep the Socialist, Left Front. "Nepal Communist Party can never be left". When there is Left Front, Samajwadi Front, Ekta etc., the option of discussing the rear tail can be kept open," he said.

Dahal said that the election symbol of the party will not change. Although it is currently open to change the name of the party, the old one will be kept immediately . "Now the name should be kept as it is and the election symbol should also be kept as it is," he said.
