After the Nepal Oil Corporation reduced the prices of petroleum products, there has been a shortage of petrol and diesel in Bhaktapur throughout the day.
Petrol pump operators did not lift petroleum products from the depot after the price was reduced, creating an artificial shortage of petroleum products in the market. Due to which vehicle owners were forced to queue at petrol pumps throughout the day.
The corporation had reduced the price of petrol by Rs 20 per liter and diesel by Rs 30 per liter as per the new purchase price sent by the Indian Oil Corporation on Tuesday.
